Education Event — Graphic Designer

Student Leadership Conference 2017, Metropolitan Community College of Omaha, Nebraska with Student Council — 2016 to 2017

Reflecting back to 2017 Omaha, a time of less demographic diversity, the branding and marketing collateral for the Student Leadership Conference, supported by the Student Council, intentionally incorporated Trang wearing a "PIBOC hat of rainbow." All visual elements aimed to convey a message of inclusivity and representation of the Metropolitan Community College of Omaha, directly addressing the need to attract diverse populations even amidst the city's then-predominantly White demographic. This commitment to diversity was woven into the college itself.

The "Empowered to lead - inspired to follow" Student Leadership Conference empowered students to discover their leadership potential, develop confidence, and dare to innovate through comprehensive marketing collateral featuring a distinct annual brand (creating memorable experiences and interpersonal insights), professional speakers, and networking.

For the official Student Leadership Conference, Trang, as the graphic designer, proposed logo's options and ensured color accuracy. The annual event branding, professional speakers, and networking aimed to help students discover, develop, and dare.

As the graphic designer for this official event, Trang proposed logo options and ensured mixed-multimedia color accuracy.

Trang also designed an introvert-friendly notebook name tag to foster connection, adhering to college brand guidelines. This included developing three logo options, consulting on shirt colors for optimal printing and on-screen, and conceptualizing the notebook name tag following a college marketing department meeting, all while aligning with the college's brand and spiritual essence.
